New 45,ooo SF Publix Superstore

5th Avenue Shops Redevelopment – Boca Raton

How important is design in a grocery store?

It is essential, especially when Creating a remodeling an existing Destination Retail Center.  The Mummaw Design Studio has Conceived a design solution that will enable this new Superstore to be incorporated into the Neighborhood Retail Center. The Project will include demolishing approximately 60,000 square feet and and then re-developing the new Publix and additional “Retails” at the Center of the Project. This major re-development was successfully designed by incorporating many of the existing design vocabulary, while introducing new forms and articulated details.

The Anchor tenant facade clearly distinguishes Publix from the neighboring national tenants but permits a cohesive integration of form & geometry solutions. It is important for Publix to maintain it’s own identification for Branding.  Design enhances the strength of this Nationally recognized store and it’s products.  Maintaining signage opportunities for the remaining “Retails” ensures that the neighboring tenants will have successful visibility  and lines of sight to the shoppers of Publix.
